Time for the Big 3 to Circle the Wagons

Tonight's game against the New Jersey Nets promises to be a Barn Burner.

Here is why I am concerned:
  • Division Rival

  • Second of back-to backs

  • #5 played 38 minutes last night

  • #34 played 37 minutes last night

  • #20 played 35 minutes last night

  • Two players down

  • Youth and inexperience asked to fill in (Powe, Davis, Pruitt, BWall)

  • We haven't lost yet

  • We haven't played a bad game yet

  • Doc may not coach the game or may arrive late

Here is why I am not concerned:

  • KG seems intent on not losing a game this year

  • The Big Three's first test of the season will have them jacked

  • Eddie House's first game against the team that let him get away

  • Doc's presence or absence will bring the team together

Here are my questions:

  • Who will be asked to step up off the bench?

  • Who will answer the bell?

  • Who won't?

  • Can the Big Three impose continue to Impose their Will (my favorite TimDuncanism) on opponents under these circumstances?

Here is my variable:

Rajon Rondo--If he can have a big game and do anything to neutralize Kidd, the rest will be left to Mssrs #5, #20 and #34.

I can't help but wonder what the OTHER BIG THREE--Patton, Eisenhower, and Bradley-- would do.
