Tony Allen -- Da Man?

We are having our first Scott Wedman moment of the 2007-2008 NBA season.

During the 1985-86 championship season, Kevin McHale went down with an injury for fourteen games. Scott Wedman stepped in and the Celtics didn't miss a beat.

James Posey is no Kevin McHale, but tomorrow night the Celtics hit the road, and rotational players become more important.

Tony Allen, coming off knee surgery, has not been his old self. Taking note, the Celtics didn't not make him a qualifying offer, which means he will become a restricted free agent next summer.

His market value will be determined starting tonight, a home game against Atlanta.

The focus will need to be there. The effort will need to be there.

Doc will give him the minutes.

Will #42 be up to the task?
