I'm still concerned about Ray Allen.
After the first five games, Shuttlesworth was shooting .575 from the field. Over the last 12 games, Jesus is shooting 35%, and that includes an 8-16 effort and an 8-14 effort. If you exclude those two games, his percentage drops another three points.
I am hoping Ray Allen is simply adjusting to not having the ball in his hands at all times, and not getting the same number of shots as he did in Seattle. For the season, Allen is shooting .413, in contrast to his .445 average over his career.
By March I am expecting this slump to be a distant memory.
If not, Beantown may want to table further discussions on how best to direct traffic in June during the Celtics championship parade.
