I'm still confused why Tony Allen got the call to defend Chauncey Billups in the finals seconds of Wednesday night's game.
Allen has a gimp knee, wears an unwieldy leg brace, and has only been in the league a few years.
Posey, meanwhile, is an able-bodied, seasoned veteran who is an accomplished defender with a history of shutting down big scoring opponents.
I hate to question Doc's judgment.
So let's just call this a raised eyebrow.
Posey needs to be on the floor the next time this situation arises, and he needs to get the defensive assignment.

you guys didnt get it I think ! this situation shouldn't even come up!
Pierce should have waited to take the last shoot of the game!!!!
Dont matter how open his look is even if he had scored with 2 sec left I would have still prefered us to throw the ball away in the stand and go to OT rather than give 2 sec to Detroit to try and hit a 3 and win the game (especially given that they score almost all their threes that night!!)
scoring a 2 points with 2 sec left would have been a dumb move! it even worse when you miss it!!!
Or perhaps let the hot guy--ray allen--take the shot
