When the Boston Celtics signed Eddie House last summer, the immediate comparisons were to former Detroit Piston Vinnie Johnson.
Like Johnson, House was said to heat up like a microwave.
House has proven the comparisons apt.
Tonight, with the Grizzlies hanging close with the Celtics in the fourth quarter, House hit two three pointers, one two-point field goal, and grabbed two boards, providing a key spark off the bench.
Over his last five games, House is 17-33 from the field, including 7-19 from the arc. In those games he is averaging just under 9 points per game in 19 minutes per contest.
