"I want a new contract for the longevity of it and get another six years at the end of this deal," said Arenas, who is making $11.9 million this season. "I don't know what's going to happen. I could have signed an extension this year, but it wasn't going to make sense for me. If my own team doesn't take me, I'll go somewhere for a lot less to win a championship."

another loss to the wizards? still dream of this current team being comparable to the 1986 celtics?
Yeah, probably not comparable.
I have said this was not a 70-win team. I also said that we would be laboring under a delusion to think this team is as complete as the 86 squad.
I still think they can win a title, with a couple of right moves by ainge plus health.
A consistently good ray allen would help too.
