Question:
Why did Jesus Shuttlesworth come out and fess up that his ankles had been bothering him most of the year?
Answer:
Because he has turned the corner, and he believes and his medical team has told him that he should keep improving from here on out.
Just my opinion. But that's what I'm going with.
Ray Allen is starting to play like, well, Ray Allen.
Driving, creating, and hitting that J like a hot knife cuts through butter.
The Celtics are now 5-2 without KG, and 5-0 in games where they try. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen both have demonstrated the ability to "turn it on" like a light switch. Today's game showed us the Paul Pierce of old, the stuff that reminds us of Larry Bird hoisting up arrogant, is-anyone-guarding-me threes.
I say give KG and Perk as much time as they need.
If Pollard can't play, sign a big to a 10-day.
Whatever.
With Ray Allen at 60% health and the bullet moving upward, the Celtics should be fine at least until the first West Coast Trip, maybe even including the first West Coast Trip, if they can bring on an extra big.
Just how good are the Celtics?
Stay tuned.
It says here we are every bit as good as our record.
