Oh well.
I guess I'll just have to learn to live with it.
The Celtics have been an all-consuming obsession for 8 months. What's a few more weeks of the same thing, only with the tension multiplied by a factor of 500?

The Celtics have been an all consuming passion of mine for over 40 years. I have even been obsessed in the down years. You know you are a real fan when you catch every game of 15 or 24 win season and still have hope. I have savored every game this season and plan to savor every playoff game. And then watch the tapes of every game all summer.
I've been a fan since the early 70s.
They've always been my team.
For better or worse, I devote more time and energy when the going is good.
It's been tough keeping up the pace this year.
But I'm impressed that you've been able to watch all the games through the years.
I hope you didn't spend too much time on them in the post-Havlicek, Wicks-Rowe season...
Back in the good old days every game was only the ones on national TV because I wasn't in the local area but always followed the team and devoted a lot of time to following them and reading everything I could. I used to get the Boston Globe every day at a local news stand. Thank goodness for League Pass so that now I can watch every game.
