A Question about Kendrick

In late January and early February Kendrick Perkins played a stretch of games where he lived up to his nickname. He was a beast on the glass, was rejecting shots at a career-best pace, and was shooting a Wiltonian 70% from the field.

During that stretch, he played 29, 31, 33, 27, 25, 29, 22, and 30 minutes. Since the New Orleans game on March 22, he's played 27, 26, 22, 24, 23, 19, 24 minutes.

Is Doc resting Kendrick for the playoffs, regulating his minutes to keep his feet and shoulder healthy, or is number 43 playing through an injury?

I wonder.
