The Other Number 35
Some day I'll write up a more extensive piece on this.
But suffice it for now to say that this number 35
--played four seasons for the Boston Celtics
--won two titles with the Green
--posted three 1000 rebound seasons, and one 900 rebound season
--was a member of 68-win Celtics in 1972-73
--played Kendrick Perkins' enforcer role to Dave Cowens' KG
--named to the All-NBA Defensive First Team twice, and to the All-NBA Defensive Second Team three times
Anyone else think Paul Silas should share a piece of the #35 hanging in the rafters?

I agree that Silas deserves to have his number retired. Maybe they should retire his name as they did with Loscy.
It's too late now but what I would have preferred is to have them retire Reggie's name, but not his number.
Then it wouldn't irk me as much that the 35 in the rafters is not for Paul Silas.
