By far the most interesting aspect of Friday's 104-99 loss to the Rockets was the play of rookies Lewis, Brad Lohaus and Mark Acres.
Lewis had 12 points on 4-for-5 shooting; Lohaus submitted 14 points, 5 rebounds and a block in 15 minutes; and Acres had 5 points and 7 rebounds in 18 minutes.
Lewis was introduced to the Wonderful World of World (B. Free, that is), while Lohaus spent some interesting minutes trying to decipher Mad Max (Cedric Maxwell squirmed for 16 points on 10-for-11 free throw shooting).
But that's what exhibition games are for . . . Fred Roberts ran his lanes and hustled for 15 points, 11 in a dazzling first quarter
