The other day I asked who was the greatest Laker coach of all time.
The unanimous choice was Pat Riley.
The 1986-87 Lakers were a great team, especially on defense. They didn't make it onto Hollinger's top five list of all-time defensive teams.
But two other Pat Riley teams did.
So here's to the old fart I hated in the 1980s.
