Powe appears to be playing for a bigger payday.

Big Baby was the one who only wanted a 2 year contract. I remember thinking he was so confident in his abilities that he negotiated out of a third year.

He'll definitely be entitled to a pay raise, but his play isn't where it might be, and not where I thought it would be.

Charles Barkley should never be mentioned as a comparison for anyone ever again.

He's a once in a lifetimer...

House owns a player option in 2009-10

Rondo's entitled to a qualifying offer in 2010-11

Giddens has team options in 2010-11 & 2011-12, and a player option in 2012-13

Pruitt has a team option in 2009-10

I say keep Powe at all costs. The guy always makes the most of any amount of playing time he gets and he plays hard 100% of the time. He also is one of the best locker room guys and teammates you will find. Red always went for character and with Leon Powe the Celtics have it in spades

Agreed.

Powe is the rock on our bench.
