Bynum Not Diggin' Da Zen?

Andrew Bynum wasn't happy about going to the bench midway through the fourth quarter of the Lakers ' loss Tuesday to the Indiana Pacers.Coach Phil Jackson had a not-too-subtle and perhaps all-too-predictable response before the Lakers faced the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday."That's none of his business," Jackson said. "He just goes out and plays. That's his job. ... He's a kid, he doesn't know any better."

I spend a lot of time on this blog poking fun at the purple. And that is mostly what it is, fun. But on a more serious note, does anyone else see a potential character flaw with this team?

One stinking loss and it's almost like Jerry Buss and Mitch Kupcek have reconvened the Warren Commission.

Fisher says the defense stinks.

Jackson agrees.

Bynum's unhappy with his PT.

A Laker fan would like to think that these are just obstacles to overcome and make them stronger.

It's still early, of course.

But I'm not feeling the right amount togetherness necessary to overcome said obstacles.

In Boston they use a different word for togetherness.

It starts with a 'U' and ends with the same letter.

For what it's worth, Bynum had 18 points, four assists and three rebounds in 30 minutes in the Lakers' 114-102 victory over the 76ers. Once again, he played the first half of the fourth quarter with the second unit and then went to the bench, kept out of crunch time for the second consecutive game.

Bynum has to be the most overrated player in the league. He is not that much better than Perk.

[Bynum] had to watch the Finals, painfully, believing that he could have made a difference. "I was just thinking, 'I want to go out there and help,' " Bynum said. "The way we got beat, I think, had a lot to do with my position."

Oh really? You could have made up that 39 point deficit and stopped the game 4 comeback? Guess that explains that incredible extension LA gave you
