Fisher Not Surprised by Back-to-Back Losses

ORLANDO, Fla. — After the Lakers lost to the Magic, I asked Derek Fisher if he was surprised the Lakers couldn’t grab hold of these games in Miami and Orlando and lock them up down the stretch, and his answer was telling.

No.

That means Fisher doesn’t think the Lakers are calm, cool and collected enough to know what to do in those situations — even though Fisher and Bryant certainly can focus with the best of them.

The Zen master claims they're not challenged by other teams so I guess they are content to barely win against mediocre teams and lose to good teams whilst waiting for the Celtics game.

Kobe seems to be the only one on the team who understands you have to try every night which is sad. I can't imagine the Celtics losing if any of the starters scores 40 points.
