Listening to the NBA's punditry this morning is a bit like trying to steal the ball from Allen Iverson before he crosses over. You think you've got it all figured out. You think you know what's coming. But then, the crossover.
There's no talk about the unstoppability of the Black Mamba.
There's no talk about the Zen Mistress and his air of superiority.
Yeah, the talking heads think Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol need to grow a pair.
For the most part, however, the focus is on the green. If Kendrick Perkins and Leon Powe assert themselves, and Rajon Rondo does his thing, the Celtics should win.
There really isn't much talk about the Big 3. A Celtics-Lakers match-up is pending, and the world is talking about the Celtics so-called role players.
A little different from last June.
