"I always enjoy playing against the best teams and some of the best players in the league. I always get pumped for that."
Of course, he chose the words "some of the best players" to isolate the Big 3 from the other players he called out in the last game.
After the Nov. 18 game, Richardson garnered notice by saying he would be "real curious to see what those [Celtics players] will be saying if we weren't in a basketball league, and didn't have referees" and "some of those guys are happy to get a ring, but you ain't been in the league long enough to talk to people like that."
On Richardson's comments, Pierce said yesterday, "It's hard for me to put a finger on it. He isn't talking about me. He said a lot of these guys haven't played enough years to talk like that. I'm in my 11th year. I don't know how many years I need.
I'll be curious to see how the bench responds.

Q Rich is such a punk. Personally, I wouldn't want to talk trash at a guy who looks as bad as Perk. I really hope that the Celtics ignore all the talk and just play. I really don't like the Knicks. The only guy that I really like on that team is David Lee who plays with a lot of heart. He deserves better than the Knicks....
Yeah, Richardson and most of the other Knicks are like a couple of flies at a picnic.
They are annoying, but with a little effort, you can bring out the fly swatter and silence them.
