The Rebirth of Jesus

From Nov. 26 through Nov. 29, Allen scored a team-high 21 points against Toronto, 25 against Golden State, and 23 against Philadelphia, making 28 of 42 shots, including 13 of 19 from 3-point range.

In Boston’s last three outings, against Indiana, Portland, and again against Indiana, Allen scored a team-high 31, 19, and 35 points in those games respectively. He knocked down 31 of 55 shots, including 15 of 29 from behind-the-arc.

The 33-year-old shooting guard out of the University of Connecticut is averaging 23.8 points over his last eight games, connecting on 58.5 percent of his shots over that span (72-for-123).

“It’s been beautiful to watch,” Boston captain Paul Pierce said. “I’ve just been taking a back seat and watching him. He’s been carrying us a lot with his hot shooting and the guys realize that. That’s why we are making the extra effort to give him the ball. He has a nice groove going. I know when I’m playing like that, I want the ball. It’s good that he’s playing so well for us and he’s shooting like that.”

And on a not too unrelated topic, I hope JR Giddens and Bill Walker keep getting their PT in Utah, cuz I don't think we'll need them for a while.
