While I still see value in the Celtics heading into Tinseltown sans a 19-game winning streak, the Atlanta Hawks appear determined to ensure that if they win tonight, it won't be on account of a Celtics' let down. The Hawks website is promoting tonight's game as the renewal of some great rivalry. Atlanta's players are no less hyped, and are talking about a mutual dislike between the two teams.
According to Marc Spears, the Celtics players are aware of all this.
Foreign building.
Playoff atmosphere.
Opponent seeking payback.
Sounds like a good way to get ready for Christmas.

Tonight's game does worry me. The Hawks just ended Cleveland's 11 game win streak and they are one of the teams that give us problems because of their athleticism. I don't like the idea of giving the Hawks any confidence or momentum so I hope we win this one.
Yeah. It looks like the Cs really need to put their game faces on. We don't need to make it four in a row in their building.
I don't want to meet the Hawks in the playoffs.
