Order Returning to the Universe

              W L PCT GB
Boston 37 9 .804 -
Cleveland 35 8 .814 ½
LA Lakers 35 9 .795 1

Cavs get Z back Thursday, which is kind of amazing, considering how well they did without him. Delonte's absence hasn't made a difference either.

I should be more worried about Cleveland than I am.

Let's get past 2/5, and then I'll shift my energies.

Cleveland plays at Orlando on Thursday.

Now that should be a good one.

Cavs play purple at home on 2/8.

I'll be rooting for King James, regardless of the teams' records.

The Bobcats are a handful so I'll cut the FLakers a little slack on this one. I hope the Minny Celtics hand them their second straight loss.
I just can't root for the Cavs they get too much help from the refs which gives them an unfair advantage in this 4 team race. Can't stand the Lakers but I respect their status as an elite team. The Cavs I'm not sold on.

So you'll stay neutral when the Cavs and Lakers meet or root for the Lakers?

I am worried about Cleveland. They are playing excellent ball and didn't miss a beat even when Z and Delonte went out. Now they are getting Z back and they are one scary team. The only thing that can derail them would be for LeBron to be out.

But, all that being said, I simply do not hate the Cavs as much as I hate the Lakers. A loss by the Cavs would be better for the Celtics, but there is just no way I can bring myself to hope for a Laker win. No way. So for that one game, go Cavs.

Well I'll be rooting for the Cavs semantics I know but I can't root for the Lakers. Its tough to win in Cleveland every game I've seen some egregious fourth quarter officiating there this season the worst being the 10 point swing in the Wiz game.

yeah, back when the lakers stunk, before they got shaq, I'd occassionally root for them on a night or two during the season.

I don't remember why.

Must have been some other team that I really hated that year.

Other than that, it's always good to see the purple go down.

Oh, now I remember.

I wanted them to win so they'd get a bad pick!!!

Sorry I meant I'll be rooting for the Cavs to lose. Haha that's a funny story. Good enough excuse to root for them.

either way, the C's benefit.

Having won 5 in a row against the Ls (before the loss in LA), it would be nice for the Cavs to win at home in case they do slip past boston in the playoffs.

Cleveland could use a confidence boost then.
