So that tells me the Celtics could resign PJ, and then trade him to whomever for whatever, and get a great player in return, without PJ ever leaving his living room. The other team would then get a contract--PJ's contract--that expires after the season.

PJ, meanwhile, would get paid for not doin' a thing.

Great idea, too bad Wyc won't pay the bill for the incoming player and his contract we'd receive in said deal.
