Will Solomon

Point guard Marcus Banks, the wild card in the trade with the Miami Heat that brought Marion to the Raptors along with cash considerations for Jermaine O'Neal, Jamario Moon and a conditional draft pick, is a player that Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo believes is an upgrade over Will Solomon .

Wait. It gets better.

Banks is a tougher nut to crack defensively, and is bigger physically. It isn't about cutting into Roko Ukic's playing time as much as a realization that at worst Banks gives the Raptors a more professional option than Solomon.

Once Danny read this post he changed his mind and sent Solomon to Sacramento.

u see, jus another "open spot" move. GM's around the league have discover that's better trade for nothing than waive: u save on luxury tax and create trade exceptions...
so looks like Danny plan to land on Joe Smith and Marbury. I like the first, not much the second, but good moves from Ainge anyway...
