Back when we were down 10 to start the half, I thought I'd keep track of all the little things Glen Davis did for the rest of the game. It didn't take long before I ran out of paper.
Blocked shot.
Pass to Perk for an easy duece.
Consecutive jumpers. Had he hit the subsequent turnaround, I might have choked up my pizza.
At 71-66 Pistons, BBD hits another jumper to slow Detroit's momentum. He then hit another jumper at 77-70 Pistons to again slow their mo.
Seconds later he grabs an offensive board that eventually leads to a House 3. On a play shortly thereafter, he hits House with a pass for another three.
With the Celtics down 81-79, Davis drives to the hoop, makes it, and draws the foul. Seconds later he gets McDyess to reach in and foul.
Not a great outcome, but BBD is becoming either another weapon for the Celtics or at least another difference maker, though today it's hard to say he made a difference when you lose by 10.

I'm with ya'. When KG went down. all the talk was "Baby & Powe will have to step up.." Baby has-maybe he doesn't always hit those J's, but he HAS hit some pretty clutch ones, albeit in a couple of losses, but he's hit them. I've been a few games this year, and believe me, that kid hustles, scraps and throws his body around with reckless abandon. I really think today's loss was due to some key turnovers, and some sloppy play-not rotating over on 3 pt shooters, that costly "clear path" foul in the 4th..just some sloppy, skiddish play. That comes with new faces and injuries I guess...
One month and about 20 games to get it together!
