We now have three bona fide bigs. One of them is a high-energy former league MVP and defensive player of the year. He wears the same number as the last Celtic to win the Sixth Man award (also a high-energy big who could make an immediate impact off the bench. Just ask Kareem). He's coming off an injury-plagued season and his first major surgery. He'll need his playing time reduced and monitored in 2009-10.
I'd seriously think about bringing him off the bench and let Sheed start along side Perk. Perk just ain't a bench player. No way, no how.
