In the Celtics.com interview with Pierce, he said there was a KG sighting at the practice facility. He didn't play but he was looking good doing slides and lifting weights. Now, this could be good that he is there and getting ready or it could be bad in that he didn't play. Still no positive confirmation as to whether he can play. The only tidbit that we have gotten that may be a ray of light is the Tim Grgurich interview where he mentioned KG among the players playing 5 on 5.
Here is the quote Yesterday, our game had O.J. Mayo, Chauncey Billups, Chris Paul, Sebastian Telfair, and Tyronn Lue. We had five point guards playing the five-on-five, with four teams, so one guy had to move to two-guard. It’s amazing for O.J. Mayo to play against Chris Paul, Billups, and Telfair, who’s fast. Rudy Gay gets to play against Tayshaun Prince and Kevin Garnett.

I may be reading into it, but I think that is saying that KG was there and playing in the 5 on 5 scrimmages
