Rajon Rondo wants to stay in Boston.
That's good news considering Rondo is one of the best point guards in the NBA.
Yeah, baby. That's what I'm talkin' about. This is how it works. It's not like one day everyone in the world wakes up and pronounces Rajon Rondo one of the two or three best point guards in the league. I still remember when Peter May asked Jim O'Brien whether Rajon Rondo was one of the ten best point guards in the Eastern Conference. "I don't know about that," was Obie's response.
Last year there was doubt whether he deserved to be mentioned in the same breath as Deron Williams, even though Rondo routinely gets the better of Williams in head-to-head match-ups. Now this summer, non-Celtics fans are coming up to me telling me that Rondo is our best player.
It's just a matter of time before the greater herd catches up with the die-hards.

Danny needs to not mess around and get that extension done. This is not the time to pinch pennies. They don't need to make the Billups mistake again. They have one of the best PG's in the league and they need to wrap him up for the future.
So true. Rondo makes them go on both ends.
I've got Rondo as the 5th best point guard in the league entering this season.
who are your other 4??
Chris Paul.
After that everything is debateable.
Chris Paul Deron Williams Tony Parker Chauncey Billups
