The Celtics won a championship with key support from an aging PJ Brown and kids like Leon Powe and Glen Davis. Even at this stage of his career, Rasheed Wallace is better than all three.

Indeed. Rasheed Wallace starts the season three years younger than PJ Brown was when he ended the 2007-08 season, and markedly more talented and versatile.
It might be worth remembering, too, that one Mr. James Posey had responsibilities that included defending the likes of Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, and others of their ilk. I'm pretty sure Sheed's height and weight will provide an advantage over these taller, bigger threes that Nails never enjoyed.
