Garnett Putting the Grassy Knoll Network Out of Business

Kevin Garnett has been telling us since Monday that his surgically repaired right knee feels fine, and there is no reason not to believe him. The latest example came when Shelden Williams tried to replace Garnett on the fly during a scrimmage, only to get a straight-arm worthy of the Heisman Trophy model. “He said four minutes,” Garnett barked as Williams went back to the sideline.

Questions about Kevin Garnett's knee, whether the tendon was stapled, the fact that he underwent multiple procedures in the offseason, and the fact that Waltham gave us varied accounts about the status and progress of the knee, won't be brought up again, unless Garnett's performance suggests that knee problems are lingering. Then somebody, somewhere is bound to inquire.

Here's to hoping we don't have to recommission the Grassy Knoll Network any time soon.

See the video posted by Red's Army?

Let's hope we see something more encouraging on NBA TV today.

Yikes. More encouraging? Doesn't sound good. Life's been getting in my way the last two days. But I'll try to check it out.

Can't wait for NBATV tonight. Though player footage will def be lacking, the interviews, commentary and (minimal) playing footage, should offer some insights into KG's recovery.

Me too.

Though I may have to watch it rebroadcast, sadly
