Shelden May Need an Intervention

When Shelden Williams isn’t on the basketball court, odds are you can find him in front of his computer. The Celtics power forward estimates that he spends six hours a day on the social networking site Twitter.

Six Hours?

Not fair. Dude spends most of his time with his wife& kid, and that's it. When he's away from them like he is now, he's on Twitter. When he's with them, he's rarely on. He spends the time conversation with his fans. Twitter is not getting in the way of basketball for him. He's not late for practice and he's not lacking commitment to the team. It's not that big of a deal.

I agree with Courtney. He is filling in his time missing Candace and Lailaa with communicating with his fans and friends on Twitter.

I'd much rather him doing that than some of the other pastimes that some players have. I think it is great that he is reaching out to fans like he has been. He has tried to answer every tweet that is sent to him. I know when he gets his family back and the season gets started that will be sharply curtailed.

oK. My bad. I was just having some fun. Guess I'll stick with the Lakers for that.

In my defense, there probably isn't another blogger out there that has given Shelden as much positive ink as me.

Yes, you have given Shelden a lot of love. Just be glad you didn't say something bad about Perk ;)

I really believe that Shelden is just filling up the time so he doesn't miss his family so much.
