Sheed came into camp out of shape and hasn't given the team anywhere hear what they hoped for. BUT, Sheed's real value will come in the second half of the season and the playoffs. Then, I think he will be invaluable.
That's an interesting comment. I've been hearing more lately. Have either the globe, herald, tommy or mike commented on this?
Haven't seen it from any of them. I don't recall any of them even mentioning that Sheed isn't all they hoped for yet. But he definitely isn't. I don't think I have even heard any of them talking about the fact that he isn't in great shape.
I think some fans were hoping for too much then. Rasheed has been in decline for some years now. To me if he's putting up 12 points and 8 rebounds a game that's alright by me.
Yeah, but what about the gut? I don't remember the gut from last year? Reggie M says Sheed is 15 pounds over last year.
Thing with Sheed so far is that he isn't rebounding. He doesn't play in side as much as I'd like him to. But I think as he gets into game shape as the season wears on, he should venture inside more often.
