The travels of former Celtic guard Kelvin Upshaw continued yesterday when he departed Italy for the Golden State Warriors.
"Kelvin is a good player for the Warriors' style," said Warren Legarie, Upshaw's agent. "And Don Nelson is the perfect coach for him."
Upshaw, who has played for four CBA teams and three NBA teams, replaced injured Darwin Cook for a month on the Italian league-leading Scavolini Pesaro team.
