CHARLESTON, W.Va.
Reserve center Rick Robey is convinced the Boston Celtics are about to put him on the auction block.
In town yesterday for a basketball camp held by University of Charleston coach Glen Korobov, the onetime Kentucky star said he expects a trade to be made this summer.
"The Celtics need a point guard, and I'm the person most likely to be involved in a trade," he said.
He pointed out that Boston recently obtained 7-foot Robert Parish from Golden State, and drafted 6-foot-11 Kevin McHale of Minnesota.
"I know something is brewing," he said. "I've heard that 18 teams have inquired about me. I'm just waiting for something to happen.
"I like it in Boston and I'd hate to leave the Celtics, but a trade would be good for me. It would give me a chance to be a starting center."
