A Mountain Man spotting! The chemistry between these guys is beautiful. It's like uncanny.
Had to laugh at Tommy - Bird leads the league in assists sitting on the floor.
Watching these videos I miss the days when we saw 5 guys crash the boards. I'd love to see this current group get back to putting a priority on rebounding.
Yep. I've always wondered how great they would have been if Big Bill had been able to play more years with Bird when both were in their prime. Would have been classic.
Danny is desperate to make JG work - If he traded Perk and destroyed the team and Green never pans out, then he takes a lot of flack for blowing the best years of the Big 3 for nothing in return. Looking forward to your post.
I don't think we have any idea how he's going to play. For one thing, he played PF and just isn't strong enough for that position. He'll be playing his natural position at SF for the C's and I think he'll be better there. Also, having a near death experience will affect him and make him much more aggressive just like it did for PP.
I found an article, post-trade, talking about JG being forced to play the whole game against zach randolph! Right!!! This is supposed to be representative of how he can play d?

That team was something else.
Yes, the KG era team tallies high assist counts. Still not the same.
And the rebounding was amazing too.
Been reading up on JG.
Just saying he plays bad D doesn't do the topic justice. Nor does saying "he played out of position" in OKC.
I'll post later.
bird and walton one year of beauty as basketball.
