Jeff Green Sucks, No, No, Wait, He's Phenomenal
What's that they say about opinions being like sphincters?
I must say, if this was my first day on planet Earth, and someone plopped me down in front of a computer to peruse the Celtic Blogosphere, boy, I might be tempted to high-tail it back to outerspace.
According to one pundit, Jeff Green sucks, unequivocally and without hesitation. Plain and simple. And if you were to take into account his high priced contract? Good heavens. I shudder to see such harsh language.
Ah, but then you have the perspective of Doc Rivers. You know Doc. The one who sees Jeff Green play every day. According to him, well, Jeff Green has been nothing short of phenomenal, and is only going to get better.
Then you have the perspectives of Brian Scalabrine and Mike Gorman, who compared young Jeff to one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history. So what in the name of the Milky Way is going on?
Oh, I get it.
Hollinger is focused on the past.
Rivers, Scalabrine, and Gorman? They're telling us what they've seen this year, this month, like now. In case you want to see that Jeff Green, the above video gives you a pretty good opportunity.
