Still say one of Danny's biggest mistakes was letting Clifford Ray go.
where is he, and why did he leave?
I posted on CG a few days ago. Danny did him wrong. He got that MRSA infection from the C's locker room. Remember when they had to clean it all out cause Delonte and Pierce got sick too? Well, the C's docs misdiagnosed or mistreated Cliff's infection. He had to wear a walking boot for a long time and went to Mayo clinic on his own and they diagnosed and treated it.
In the meantime they brought Frank in as asst coach and he brought his buddy Roy Rogers to coach the big men. They gave Cliff 100K to go away quietly and not talk about the infection.
Cliff worked for the Kings the past 2 seasons but with their new ownership they are starting fresh so he's without a job again. Brian from PIAB said that he's retiring but with our young bigs, Danny should crawl to him and beg him to come back.
