I was a Beatles fan from age 5 to about age 14. Around 9th grade I started listening other things, ditto for college and after. By the time Anthology came out in 90s, I was back into them. We'll call the current phase Beatlemania Vol. 3.
You know what all three phases share in common?
The song "I've Got a Feeling" never ceases to amaze.
I won't go into detail. The song kind of speaks for itself.
But I just got back from a run.
The song ends with McCartney singing in one ear, while Lennon sings in the other.
When music historians look back on the 20th century, that pretty much captures what they'll remember.
