I'm Getting that Pitino Feeling

I've never coached a basketball team in my life.

My playing days ended in high school (well, other than pick-up).

And I certainly want Brad Stevens to succeed.

But it's tough to watch these videos and imagine this same guy coaching not only a pro team, but a pro team that includes many players once coached by Doc Rivers.

There are countless reasons why college coaches don't succeed in the pros.

One of those reasons is that they are different games. Another is that any approach involving  "pep" as a motivating factor for millionaire athletes is immediately suspect.

I guess what I'm asking is not only can this guy manage difficult personalities like Rajon Rondo, can he manage the NBA ego at all?
