Poor High Henry. Of all the centers he had to follow.

I think that the Celtics should tank for Bob Lanier.

Bob Lanier v. Dave Cowens

hmm

I'd take #18, but not by a large margin

Yeah, it would have been interesting to see how he might have progressed had the situation been different

I'd have to go with the red head as well.

Just being silly. Dave Cowens is my all time favorite Celtic. Very good draft. Six picks from that draft ended up playing for the Celtics, with four of them getting a ring. Dave Cowens from Florida State, Jim Ard from Cincinnati, Nate Archibald from UTEP, Charlie Scott from North Carolina, Pete Maravich from LSU and Dennis Awtrey from Santa Clara.

Pistol Pete was one of my all time favorites even though he just played a partial season with the Celtics. One of the most unfair things in life was when Pete retired the season before the Celtics won a title. If he could have held on just one more season, he would have had that ring that he wanted so badly.

loved pete too

jim ard -- he won at least one ring with the c's right?

My memory tells me that Jim Ard was on the Celtics championship team that defeated Phoenix. I'm pretty sure he wasn't on the team that beat the Bucks.
