After last night's 8-9 effort against Orlando, Rajon Rondo improved his field goal percentage on the year to .58%. Since many observers have cited his supposed inability to shoot the J as the only drawback to him becoming a standout point guard in this league, Kevin Garnett may have been ahead of the curve when he predicted imminent greatness for the Celtics young point guard.
But if his numbers from the last three games are any indication, KG's forecast may come more imminently than even he expected. Indeed, what we may be seeing is the Rebirth of Rajon Rondo not only as a complete player, but as an offensive threat.
