Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets used a 15-2 first quarter run to build a huge lead they never relinquished, on their way to a 120-94 rout of the Boston Celtics. Olajuwon opened the game guarding small forward Antoine Walker and the rookie proceeded to squeeze off eight shots in the game's first 5:21 against one of the greatest defenders ever. He hit two, and failed to do much the rest of the way against the stifling defense of Houston's seven-footer.
