Pau Gasoft, the starting forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, who missed a game last week due to illness, is said to be faking the illness so that he can rest up for the Celtics game on Christmas Day, Florida Celts Fan reports over at Loy's Place. Word has it that the entire Lakers starting line-up may "come down with the same illness" a couple of games into the road trip, so they can go home early and start practicing for December 25th.
Jerry West has offered to lead the practice.
