Doc Rivers said he hopes to lower Garnett's minutes the rest of the season to help keep him strong, and Garnett said he was fine with whatever Rivers wanted to do. Asked about whether his team is experiencing fatigue, Rivers said "there is nothing you can do about it. You go through some type of fatigue during the season at different points. And we're going through it right now. We just have to get through it."
I've got something you can do about it.
Play POB.
If you had the same thought, you won't be encouraged by this morning's newspaper:
“I didn’t think Perkins' injury was that serious from the beginning," Rivers said, "but I didn’t know if he’d miss one or two games. Perk’s the only guy with that length besides Kevin (Garnett), so when he’s not in it hurts us.”
Out of sight, out of mind. Apparently, POB's 7'5" wing-span and 9'4" standing reach are figments of our imagination.

i was a beliver about POB, but sadly he's not Cs material for now.
I see him moving around, slowly. Too much slowly. That's why Doc dont use him. Too slow for rotation on defence.
but the kid can block shots and get some rebounds... basically what Mutombo can do for us. except Muombo is taller, stronger, have more experience and more overall basketball skills...
It's too bad, then, that POB has no trade value...
You have to believe that if Clifford Ray can't reach this kid and develop his skills, he is a lost cause.
Yeah, if he's not going to produce this year, and we can get someone who can, let him go.
