I still say the Boston Celtics sometimes forget they have Ray Allen on their roster, only choosing to remember when there's three seconds or less left on the shot clock and they need someone to bail them out.
At the same time, I was thinking that Ray Allen had tapered off some after his hot start.
Not so.
He's still shooting .501 for the season, which is more than 50 points above his career average. And if you peruse the last several box scores, you'll only find a clunker or two, which, we all know, was not the case last year, when he was still recovering from double-ankle surgery and experienced several shooting droughts.
