Last night's lesson was clear, and it goes something like this: talent and experience are wonderful things, and whatever happens to be in third place isn't even worth mentioning.

The talent in question belongs to Robert Parish, who quite often this season has been something of a sleeping giant, as it were. The experience was that of the Boston Celtics , per se, they being a championship team that has accomplished almost everything imaginable, including the extrication of a 12- point fourth-period deficit on the road.
