Parish Drops 14 in Final Period

The final rebound belonged to The Chief, which was appropriate, for Robinson's missed jump shot with one second remaining to preserve Boston's comeback 99-98 triumph over the Washington Bullets last evening at the Capital Centre.

Parish scored 14 of his game-high 32 points in the final period, connecting on seven straight shots as the Celtics overcame a nine-point deficit at the end of three quarters, a state of affairs created by Washington's sensational 16-for-23 third-period shooting. Parish finished with 15 rebounds and four blocks in his best performance of the season.
