Rajon Rondo Sheds the Championship Hangover

In the first 11 games of the season, Rajon Rondo had 78 points and 73 assists; in the next nine games, he has totaled 125 points and 81 assists.

On November 16, Rondo told the world that his team was tired.

They had just won a championship.

The summer vacation lasted about 30 days.

The team just wasn't up to the task as of yet. I couldn't blame him. As a fan, I was barely ready to start cheering again.

Rondo's game looked like it had regressed. You could even say it had become derailed and gone in the ditch.

I've given Doc credit for helping get Rondo back on track.

But it's time to give Rondo some credit.

The kid we saw in Game 6 of the Finals had no peer. The kid we're seeing now is trying to prove the same thing to every other team in the league.

Rondo is very special. And the best thing about it is that he is just going to get better. He is still very young.

Before he is done, he will be a Hall of Famer. KG saw it when he first got here and was saying then that Rondo is going to be a top 5 point guard in the league. And it is happening sooner rather than later. I can't wait for the next game to see what he will do next.

Regarding HOF and All-Stardom:

It's interesting.

If he can do this, perform like this, 4/5 or maybe even 3/5 nights per week, I think you are right.

When not performing like this, he still needs to bring his B+ game.

Should be interesting.

But then again, DJ isn't in the Hall so who knows. He deserved to be elected when the others from that team were and he still hasn't been. If they keep DJ out, who knows if Rondo averages a triple double if he would even make it.

Just reminding me about DJ aggravates the heck out of me!!!
