Doc just needs them back to the step on the throat mentality. They've said other teams come out with their best shot so they absorb the first punches and then settle down to play. They usually hang around then build a lead in the third but it hasn't worked lately. Step on the gas early. Of course this only works if the 2nd unit doesn't give back the lead but they've been playing better and Doc seems to be playing less time with 0/1 starter.
Funny thing is Doc said that the toughest period of the season would be between Christmas and the All-Star break.
So will the Celtics just take off this entire two months?
If so, let's start playing the bench and the kids in Utah.
