Reali

Tony Reali needs to find a new writer and researcher. During Friday's Around the Horn, Reali said not once, not twice, but three times that the Magic had defeated Boston earlier in the season. I kept thinking, boy, I must have fallen asleep at the switch. They lost to Indiana and then to Denver, and then pretty much didn't lose again until the SLUMP.

Did they lose to the Magic during the SLUMP?

Nope.

So no big deal. Reali just got it wrong, right?

Sort of.

By the time he made his point for the third time, Reali added for emphasis this tidbit.

"They beat Boston earlier in the season and Jameer Nelson didn't even play."

Maybe the NBA season is playing out in a parallel universe nobody else knows about.

That was a big huh to me too. Like Payton saying the Celtics always got blown out in Atlanta during the playoffs. How hard is it to get the facts straight?

You know, the Magic might have won one game at home against the C's without Nelson . . . last year.

I hope he's not that confused.
