We all figured the Jazz had long progressed from the days when Frank Layden would emerge from the locker room after another drubbing and ask, "What, you mean we were supposed to win?"

They didn't then because they had people like Ben Poquette and Jeff Wilkins playing 82 games and they were routinely hammered. That is not the case now, but last night against the Celtics , this was Utah c. 1982. You have to wonder if Karl Malone and John Stockton will ever live to tell about their victory on the parquet.
