#32
I absolutely love Kevin McHale.
I was watching him give a couple of pre-game interviews before today's game. The announcers observed that fifty to a hundred fans waited outside the Gah-den for the Wolves to deboard the team bus. A couple fans flagged Big Al, one tapped Ryan Gomes.
The rest?
They formed a big circle around #32, and he signed autographs for everyone of them.
"Boston's a special city," McHale said. "I have a special relationship with Boston. Waking up this morning, being back here. It felt good."
You don't have to believe the KG conspiracy theories.
But dig this.
When McHale leaves the employ of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Garnett plays his last game for the green, the two Kevins will be reunited some day at a Celtics' family gathering.
You know why?
They're both Celtics.
And that's all that really matters.
